BOXING FOR TROOPS!

Help Us Send Care Packages to Arizona Soldiers Overseas!

We’d liked to take the opportunity to give a special Thanks to everyone who generously donated to last year’s charity event, BOXING FOR TROOPS! It was an amazing success!

Once again this year, AHA Member, Sue Burtzloff and others, are collecting donations to send Special Care Packages to Soldiers Overseas this Holiday Season. In addition, Sue will be collecting letters from students to the Soldiers to boost their morale and let them know we’re all thinking about them.

The cost of goods in each Box is $50 and includes special treats and other items to make their lives a little easier and give them a taste of home during the holidays. Each box is prepared specifically for each group with their personal requests.

Last year Sue and the others raised over $6,000 and sent 141 boxes to our Arizona soldiers stationed abroad! We are making a plea to all of our fantastic members to help us to make this year’s event as big a success as last year.

Please help us reach our goal of $7,000. We know that with the current economic problems and the holidays coming soon that we’re all low on cash, but this is an excellent meaningful project AHA and the Tucson Chapter is putting together, and one that we hope you will all support.
